Iran's exiled Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi publicly thanked US President Donald Trump for his strong support of protesters facing a brutal regime, asserting that Iranians are courageously demanding an end to 46 years of repression under the Islamic Republic while seeking to restore historic ties with the United States that once fostered regional peace and prosperity.
In a detailed post on X, Pahlavi praised Trump's warning to Iran's leadership as a beacon of hope, emphasizing that it bolsters the resolve of demonstrators risking their lives to dismantle decades of chaos and terror, and revealed he possesses a comprehensive plan for a stable democratic transition backed by widespread popular support within Iran.
President Trump escalated tensions by declaring on Truth Social that the United States is "locked and loaded" and prepared to intervene directly if Iranian authorities violently suppress or kill peaceful protesters, a customary response he accused the regime of employing, amid reports of escalating demonstrations driven by severe economic hardships.

Widespread protests, initially sparked by skyrocketing inflation, a plummeting rial currency reaching record lows, and soaring living costs exacerbated by international sanctions, have rapidly spread across multiple provinces, evolving into direct challenges against the government with clashes resulting in several fatalities and injuries on both sides.
Iranian officials, including Supreme Leader advisor Ali Shamkhani, fiercely condemned Trump's statements as reckless interference, declaring national security a non-negotiable red line and warning that any foreign intervention would be met with a severe and regrettable response, while accusing external forces of orchestrating the unrest to undermine the country's sovereignty.
