A fierce encounter erupted between terrorists and security forces in the dense forests of Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir, on Wednesday evening, officials reported. The clash began when a joint team of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Indian Army, and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a cordon-and-search operation in the Kuchal area of Chatroo, acting on precise intelligence about terrorist presence.
