Former Member of Parliament from the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Imtiaz Jaleel, has come under scrutiny after his name was reportedly mentioned in a chargesheet related to a case involving allegations of religious conversion and sexual harassment at the Nashik branch of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The development has drawn political attention as the investigation continues to unfold in Maharashtra.
According to reports, the chargesheet filed in connection with the case refers to multiple individuals as part of the ongoing probe by the Crime Branch. The case involves allegations of religious conversion and sexual harassment linked to activities at the TCS Nashik office. While the legal process is still underway, authorities have not issued any final findings, and the inclusion of names in the chargesheet does not imply proven guilt.
In statements recorded during the investigation, corporator Matin Patel of AIMIM was questioned by the Crime Branch regarding aspects of the case, including the whereabouts of an accused person identified as Nida Khan. During his questioning, Patel reportedly referred repeatedly to Imtiaz Jaleel, stating, “You will have to ask Imtiaz Jaleel Saheb,” when asked about certain details. His repeated references to the former MP have also been noted in the investigative record.

Separately, officials have previously taken administrative action in related civic matters, including the removal of allegedly unlawful structures at properties linked to corporator Matin Patel by the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation. The broader investigation into the TCS Nashik case remains ongoing, with authorities continuing to examine statements and evidence, and no final legal conclusions have been announced at this stage.
