Two video clips circulating widely on social media have exposed a disturbing incident inside a Delhi Metro coach, where a man, allegedly intoxicated, was seen verbally abusing security personnel. The footage, which surfaced on Tuesday, has ignited public outcry over safety and passenger conduct within one of India’s busiest public transportation networks.
In the first video, the man is recorded hurling profanities at security staff inside the train as fellow passengers watch in dismay. The second clip captures security personnel escorting him out of the coach at Karol Bagh Metro Station. The incident, shared extensively online, has prompted commuters to raise concerns about the safety measures and behavioral standards in the Delhi Metro system.
A senior officer from the Delhi Police Metro Unit confirmed that the videos are under verification but noted that no formal complaint has been lodged as of yet. “The videos are being verified, but no complaint has been received regarding the incident,” the officer stated. The police assured that appropriate action would be taken if a complaint is filed or if a cognizable offense is established during the ongoing investigation.
