A tragic late-night accident in Noida has claimed the life of a 5-year-old girl after a speeding BMW rammed into a scooter carrying her and two relatives near a hospital in Sector 30.
The incident occurred around 12:20 am when Gul Mohammad, a resident of Sector 45, was returning home from Child PGI Hospital with his relative Raja and his daughter Ayat, who had just received treatment. As the trio rode past Gate Number 3 of the hospital on their scooter, a Haryana-registered BMW slammed into them from behind.
The impact was so severe that little Ayat died on the spot. Gul Mohammad and Raja were critically injured and are currently receiving treatment.

The driver of the BMW fled immediately after the crash. However, police swiftly traced the vehicle using its registration number and arrested two individuals — Yash Sharma (22) of Sector 37 and Abhishek Rawat (22) of Sector 70. Police confirmed that Yash Sharma was driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
A case has been filed at Sector 20 police station under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including rash driving and causing death by negligence. The investigation is ongoing.
