Fresh details have emerged in the death case of Twisha Sharma, with her husband Samarth Singh reportedly telling police that tensions in their marriage had increased after her pregnancy was confirmed on April 17. According to investigators, Singh claimed during questioning that arguments between the couple had become frequent in the months leading up to Twisha’s death at their residence in Bhopal on May 12.
Police sources said the couple had allegedly argued just hours before the incident over a planned trip to Ajmer in Rajasthan. Twisha Sharma was later found hanging at the couple’s home, triggering an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. Authorities are examining statements from family members, digital evidence, and personal messages exchanged between Twisha and her relatives as part of the ongoing probe.
Messages reportedly exchanged between Twisha and her mother painted a troubling picture of her emotional condition and the atmosphere at her in-laws’ home. In several conversations, she allegedly referred to tensions related to her pregnancy and described the environment as hostile. In one message cited during the investigation, she wrote, “Mera dum ghut raha hai maa,” expressing feelings of emotional distress and pleading with her parents to take her away from the house.
