A 26-year-old Mumbai resident, Ganesh Ramesh Pujari, was arrested on Thursday, October 30, 2025, for allegedly murdering his 40-year-old maternal uncle, Mariappa Raju Nair, by repeatedly smashing his head against hospital stairs in Thane. The fatal assault occurred outside a medical facility where the duo had arrived from Goregaon for Pujari’s wife’s delivery.
