A triple murder accused has been killed in an encounter with the Uttar Pradesh Police in Bulandshahr, marking a major development in a case that had triggered widespread concern after a violent shooting during a birthday celebration at a gym.
The accused, identified as Jeetu Saini, was the prime suspect in the killing of three youths during a party that reportedly escalated following an altercation among friends. According to police, the incident had occurred during a birthday celebration when an argument turned violent and resulted in the fatal shooting of three people.
Officials said Jeetu Saini had been absconding since the incident and was carrying a reward of ₹50,000 for information leading to his arrest. He was also considered the main operative in the case, which involved multiple arrests and parallel police operations in the region.

The encounter reportedly took place during a police operation when a team attempted to intercept the accused. In the exchange of fire, Saini was critically injured and later succumbed to his injuries. Two police personnel were also reported injured during the operation, according to official accounts.
Police have stated that weapons were recovered from the spot and that further investigation is underway to identify any additional individuals involved in the crime or aiding the accused while he was on the run. The case remains under active scrutiny as authorities continue their crackdown on those linked to the incident.
The killing adds another chapter to the broader investigation into the Bulandshahr triple murder case, which has drawn attention due to its sudden escalation from a social gathering to a violent crime. Officials have reiterated that efforts are ongoing to ensure accountability for all involved.
