The deceased have been identified as Chandrasekhar Reddy, a 45-year-old former lecturer at a private college, his 35-year-old wife Kavitha, and their children—a 14-year-old daughter, Sritha Reddy, and a 10-year-old son, Viswan Reddy. According to the Osmania University police, the couple strangled their children before hanging themselves.

A suicide note, purportedly written by Chandrasekhar, was recovered at the scene. In it, he cited severe financial problems as the reason for ending his life and those of his family members, stating, “No one is responsible for our death... we are facing numerous problems in career, mentally, and physically. Please forgive us.”

Preliminary investigations reveal that Chandrasekhar had been unemployed for at least six months, contributing to the family’s financial woes.
