A late-night police operation in Hyderabad's Kukatpally area has exposed alleged immoral activities and multiple regulatory violations at a popular pub, leading to the detention of nine staff members. The raid was led by a woman IPS officer who reportedly conducted a discreet verification exercise before launching the surprise operation.
According to police, DCP Kukatpally Riti Raj personally spearheaded the raid at a pub known as Club Masti, officially operating as Kings and Queens Pub. Authorities said the action was initiated after receiving credible intelligence inputs about suspicious activities taking place inside the establishment.
Investigators alleged that the pub was facilitating solicitation and prostitution while also violating several licensing and regulatory norms. Police claimed the management failed to prevent minors from entering the liquor-serving premises, operated beyond permitted hours, served food and alcohol in violation of regulations, and lacked a valid police No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Officials further stated that preliminary evidence suggested women were allegedly being used to attract male customers and generate inflated bills. Investigators also suspect the management was procuring women for customers and facilitating immoral activities within the premises. The allegations are currently under investigation and have not yet been tested in court.
During the operation, nine staff members, including four women and five men, were taken into custody and shifted to the local police station for questioning and further legal proceedings. Police records indicate that the pub had previously faced multiple criminal cases in 2025, with authorities alleging that violations continued despite earlier action.
A fresh case has now been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act. Police said the raid was conducted based on evidence gathered during the undercover verification exercise and that further investigations are underway. Authorities have not yet announced any arrests beyond the staff members taken into custody during the raid.
