A dispute between two groups at a gym in Baghpat's Agarwal Mandi Tatiri area escalated into a physical confrontation, with the incident captured on CCTV cameras. The argument reportedly began while several people were working out inside the facility before turning into a fight. Footage from the gym has since circulated widely on social media, bringing attention to the incident.
According to the available footage, members of the two sides confronted each other inside the gym and exchanged blows amid the exercise equipment. Other people present at the facility attempted to intervene and separate those involved. The situation was eventually brought under control inside the gym, but the dispute continued after the groups moved outside the premises.
Police said one side later called additional associates to the spot, after which another confrontation took place outside the gym. The outdoor altercation was also reportedly captured by CCTV cameras installed at the premises. The incident therefore involved two separate confrontations, with the second one leaving one of the men seriously injured, according to the police account.

Baghpat Police said the viral footage did not capture the entire sequence of events. Krishna subsequently called his associates, who allegedly assaulted Vikrant, leaving him seriously injured. Vikrant is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital, police said.
Police have taken cognisance of the footage and registered a case at Kotwali Baghpat on the basis of a complaint filed by Naresh Kumar. The authorities said further legal action is being taken and the circumstances surrounding both confrontations are being investigated. The police inquiry is expected to establish the sequence of events and the roles of those involved in the altercations.
