A case has been registered against Anand Naidu, a Congress leader, after allegations that he assaulted two minors with a rod following a dispute linked to an alleged personal relationship issue. The incident has triggered a police investigation, and the matter is currently under scrutiny by local authorities.
According to the complaint filed at the Annapoorneshwari Nagar Police Station, the minors allegedly questioned Naidu about an alleged extra-marital relationship involving their mother. The complainant stated that Naidu had been in a relationship with the woman for the past three to four years, which became the source of tension within the family.
The complaint further alleges that following the confrontation, Naidu physically assaulted the two minors using a rod. The children reportedly sustained injuries to their legs, hands, and other parts of the body. Police officials said medical examinations and statements from the victims are being reviewed as part of the ongoing investigation.

A case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, along with other applicable sections of the law. The complainant has also alleged financial misconduct, claiming that property belonging to him was transferred without consent.
