Unidentified burglars targeted the bungalow of former Maharashtra minister and NCP (SP) leader Eknath Khadse in Jalgaon’s Ramanand Nagar on Tuesday morning. A worker discovered the broken lock and scattered household items upon arrival, immediately alerting both Khadse and local authorities.
Police from Ramanand Nagar station swiftly responded, securing the scene and initiating a detailed investigation. The property, which remains largely unoccupied as Khadse primarily resides in Muktainagar, showed clear signs of forced entry and internal disruption.
This incident marks the second strike on the Khadse family in less than a month. Earlier in October, a petrol pump owned by Union Minister Raksha Khadse—Eknath Khadse’s daughter-in-law—was robbed in Muktainagar, raising concerns over targeted criminal activity against the prominent political household.

Authorities are examining CCTV footage, collecting forensic evidence, and questioning neighbors as part of the ongoing probe. No arrests have been made, and the full extent of stolen items remains under assessment.
