Digital Connexion, a powerhouse joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management, Reliance Industries Limited, and Digital Realty, has appointed CR Srinivasan as its new Chief Executive Officer, the company announced on Thursday. With over 30 years of expertise in telecom, IT, cybersecurity, and digital services, Srinivasan is poised to lead the company’s ambitious expansion in India’s skyrocketing data centre and AI market.
Digital Connexion is investing heavily in over 140MW of AI-ready data centre capacity across Chennai and Mumbai to meet the surging demand from hyperscale and enterprise clients. As India boasts the world’s second-largest pool of active internet users and an AI market projected to soar to USD 17 billion by 2027, the company is strategically positioned to capitalize on the nation’s digital transformation.
Srinivasan, a proven leader with a history of scaling high-growth businesses, previously served as CEO of Sify Digital Services and spearheaded Tata Communications’ cloud and cybersecurity unit. His appointment signals Digital Connexion’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge colocation, interconnection, and cloud solutions to fuel the rapid adoption of AI and digital infrastructure across India’s enterprises and hyperscalers.
