The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has crossed the milestone of six lakh units in global sales since its launch in November 2020, highlighting steady demand for the mid-size cruiser across several international markets. The motorcycle has gradually built a strong customer base without relying heavily on aggressive marketing, instead gaining popularity through consistent performance, comfort and the brand’s established reputation. The achievement reflects the continued appeal of Royal Enfield’s modern 350 cc platform among riders in India and abroad.
The Meteor 350 was also the first motorcycle to debut Royal Enfield’s J-series engine platform, which has since become the foundation for several other models in the company’s lineup. Following the Meteor’s introduction, the same engine architecture has been adopted in motorcycles such as the Classic 350, Hunter 350, Bullet 350 and the recently introduced Goa Classic 350. This common platform strategy has allowed the manufacturer to expand its 350 cc range while maintaining consistent performance and reliability.
The engine powering the Meteor 350 is a 349 cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder unit that produces 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. Rather than focusing on high-speed performance, the engine is designed to deliver smooth and manageable power suitable for daily commuting as well as relaxed highway rides. The character of the motor, combined with the cruiser-style ergonomics, has helped the motorcycle appeal to both new riders and experienced enthusiasts seeking a comfortable long-distance machine.

Royal Enfield has positioned the Meteor 350 as a mid-size cruiser aimed at riders who prefer relaxed touring and everyday usability. The model has received positive responses in multiple regions, including India, Latin America, Europe and the SAARC countries. Riders often highlight the bike’s comfortable riding posture, balanced suspension setup and easy-to-handle engine, all of which contribute to a smooth and accessible riding experience.
In terms of features, the Meteor 350 blends traditional design with modern technology. It comes equipped with a semi-digital instrument cluster along with the company’s Tripper navigation pod, which offers turn-by-turn navigation support. Additional features include LED lighting, a slip-and-assist clutch, adjustable levers and premium switchgear. While these additions are relatively simple, they improve convenience and usability for everyday riding.
The Meteor 350 is available in four trims — Fireball, Stellar, Aurora and Supernova — each offering distinct styling elements and colour options. In India, the motorcycle is priced between ₹1.95 lakh and ₹2.18 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it within reach of a broad group of buyers. Royal Enfield’s extensive retail network, which includes over 2,000 outlets in India and more than 1,000 internationally, has helped the Meteor reach customers in over 60 countries and strengthen its global presence.
