Nestle India announced the appointment of Manish Tiwary as Chairman of the board, effective August 1, 2025, following the retirement of incumbent Chairman and Managing Director Suresh Narayanan on July 31, 2025.
The board approved Tiwary’s appointment as Chairman and Managing Director for a five-year term until July 31, 2030, with his role as Managing Director (Designate) starting February 1, 2025, and Key Managerial Personnel from April 24, 2025. Tiwary, previously with Amazon, brings extensive leadership experience to the FMCG giant known for Maggi, Nescafe, and KitKat.
Suresh Narayanan, who navigated Nestle India through the Maggi crisis a decade ago, expressed gratitude to stakeholders for their support during his tenure, which began as Managing Director on August 1, 2015, and Chairman from October 29, 2015.
Narayanan, who held leadership roles across Nestle’s international markets, expressed confidence in the company’s future under Tiwary, emphasizing its inclusive and forward-looking approach.
