Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), the flagship company of the Adani Group, reported its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 5,642 crore for the first quarter of FY27, marking a 49 per cent year-on-year increase. The company also posted total income of Rs 33,546 crore during the April-June quarter, reflecting a 50 per cent rise compared to the corresponding period last year. The strong performance was driven by growth across its infrastructure and incubating businesses, according to a company statement released on Wednesday.
Profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 1,295 crore, excluding the OFAC settlement of Rs 2,644 crore. Adani Airports emerged as one of the key growth drivers, with EBITDA rising 49 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,633 crore. The company said the quarterly results highlight the strength of its diversified business portfolio, which combines established operations with new growth platforms to deliver both stability and long-term value.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said the company had begun FY27 on a strong note, with its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA reflecting the increasing scale and maturity of its infrastructure businesses. He highlighted several milestones achieved during the quarter, including the commencement of international operations at Navi Mumbai International Airport, the start of toll collections on the Ganga Expressway, expansion of solar module manufacturing capacity, and the securing of a major hyperscale data centre order.

The company also noted that its recent Rs 15,000 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) demonstrated strong confidence from institutional investors in its long-term growth strategy and execution capabilities. Gautam Adani said the group remains focused on building globally competitive infrastructure businesses that support India's development priorities while creating sustainable value for shareholders and other stakeholders.
Operationally, Adani Enterprises continued to expand across multiple business segments during the quarter. Its copper business contributed EBITDA of Rs 749 crore as production capacity increased, while Adani New Industries commissioned a new 1.7 GW solar module manufacturing line. Navi Mumbai International Airport began international operations on July 15, and toll collections at the Ganga Expressway project commenced on May 15. The company said that after completing a disciplined investment cycle, it is now entering a phase where higher capacity utilisation and improved operational efficiencies are expected to drive stronger financial performance in the coming quarters.
