Actor Rashmika Mandanna has shared details of the slower daily routine she is following while recovering from a hip injury. The actor, who has reportedly been advised to remain on bed rest, posted an update on Instagram Stories describing how she has been spending her time sleeping, resting and engaging in light activities.
Addressing her followers in a diary-style note, Rashmika said her days were progressing well and that the recovery period was “not that bad.” She explained that much of her time was devoted to sleep and recuperation, reflecting the reduced pace required while her hip heals and she remains away from her usual professional schedule.
The actor said she had been completing puzzles, reading and watching television shows during her rest period. She also mentioned devoting time to personal care, including haircare and skincare. These low-intensity activities appear to be helping her remain occupied without placing unnecessary physical strain on the injured area.

Discussing food, Rashmika said she was currently eating two meals a day and trying not to overeat while her activity level remained limited. “Really, really try and not go overboard with the eating,” she wrote. She did not provide detailed information about the meals, their nutritional composition or whether the schedule had been recommended by a medical professional.
Her post describes an individual recovery routine rather than advice that others should automatically follow. Nutritional needs differ according to a person’s age, body, activity level, medical condition and stage of healing. Eating too little during recovery may also affect the body’s ability to obtain the energy, protein and nutrients required for tissue repair.
People recovering from injuries should follow guidance from their doctor or physiotherapist regarding rest, movement and rehabilitation. Any significant dietary change should be discussed with an appropriately qualified professional, particularly when a person is injured or taking medication. Rashmika has not disclosed how the injury occurred or specified when she expects to resume regular work.
