M.K. Stalin – Tamil Nadu Chief Minister
In a message on X, PM Modi wished Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK President M. K. Stalin a long life and good health. Stalin began his birthday by paying tributes at memorials of former Chief Ministers C.N. Annadurai and his father M. Karunanidhi at Marina Beach, and also offered homage at Periyar Thidal. In a social media post, he pledged to continue serving the people and upholding the ideals of the Dravidian movement. DMK leaders organized public events and outreach programs to mark the occasion, emphasizing social justice and welfare initiatives ahead of the state’s upcoming election year.
Yumnam Khemchand Singh – Manipur Chief Minister
PM Modi also congratulated Yumnam Khemchand Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur, acknowledging his experience and commitment to good governance. Born on March 1, 1963, Singh has held key portfolios including Municipal Administration, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and Education. A former Speaker of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, he is known for grassroots organization and his decades-long involvement in Taekwondo, recently earning a 5th-Dan Black Belt from the Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation in Seoul.
