Registration for the Amarnath Yatra 2025 officially opened today, marking the beginning of preparations for one of Hinduism’s most revered pilgrimages. Devotees from across India and beyond are expected to journey to the sacred Amarnath Cave in Jammu and Kashmir, home to the naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam.
This year, the yatra will take place from June 29 to August 19, concluding on Shravan Purnima. Pilgrims can choose between the traditional Pahalgam route, known for its scenic trail, or the shorter but steeper Baltal route. Helicopter services are also available and can be booked through the official platforms.
Pilgrims can register online via the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board (SASB) portal or offline at over 540 designated bank branches across India, including Punjab National Bank and Jammu & Kashmir Bank.
