In Economics and Econometrics, Harvard University occupies the first position, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, the University of Chicago and Princeton University. For Marketing, Harvard again ranks first, with Massachusetts Institute of Technology in second place. The University of Pennsylvania, the University of Cambridge and Stanford University complete the top five in the marketing category, giving students several highly ranked options across the US and UK.

Harvard also leads the Business and Management Studies ranking, followed by Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. INSEAD ranks fourth, while the University of Oxford takes fifth place. In Accounting and Finance, Harvard retains the top position, followed by Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Oxford and the University of Chicago, placing several leading institutions from the US and UK among the highest-ranked choices.

Stanford University leads the global ranking for Statistics and Operational Research, followed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University. The University of California, Berkeley ranks fourth, while the University of Oxford takes the fifth position. The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026 cover 55 narrow subjects across five broad subject areas and include more than 1,900 institutions worldwide.
