Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is under renewed legal scrutiny after a Hyderabad doctor filed a complaint accusing him of misleading buyers through his endorsement of Sai Surya Developers. The Ranga Reddy District Consumer Commission has issued a notice to the actor following allegations that the company cheated the complainant out of ₹34.8 lakh by selling non-existent plots.
The complaint highlights how Mahesh Babu’s endorsement helped build trust among investors, leading to their financial loss. This comes months after the Enforcement Directorate questioned Mahesh Babu in connection with a money laundering probe involving the same developers and the Surana Group.
Though authorities have not implicated Mahesh Babu in any wrongdoing, and reports suggest he earned ₹5.9 crore for the endorsement, the fresh notice places the actor under the spotlight once again.
