Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has appealed to fans and well-wishers for prayers after her father-in-law suffered a life-threatening brain haemorrhage late Sunday night. The senior family member was rushed to hospital and immediately taken into emergency surgery in the early hours of Monday, leaving the entire household in a state of shock and anxiety.

Taking to Instagram, Swara shared a poignant note revealing the gravity of the situation. “Fahad’s father and my father-in-law had a brain haemorrhage last night and was operated on early this morning. We are attending to this unfortunate family emergency and will be unavailable for some days. Please keep uncle in your prayers,” she wrote, adding a simple caption: “Please pray for my father-in-law.” The post instantly drew thousands of supportive messages from colleagues and followers across the industry.

The sudden medical crisis comes just weeks after Swara and husband Fahad Ahmad wrapped up their appearance on the reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga, which marked her first professional commitment 2.5 years after welcoming daughter Raabiyaa in September 2023. Swara had openly described the show as a gentle re-entry into work, appreciating its flexible schedule that allowed her to ease back into the spotlight while prioritising motherhood.
