Rumours are swirling around upcoming as-yet untitled Telugu film RAPO 22’s co-stars Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashri Borse, as fans speculate that the on-screen duo might be a real-life couple. The buzz intensified after both actors shared separate Instagram posts that appeared to be clicked in the same hotel room, sparking dating rumours online.

Adding fuel to the fire, eagle-eyed fans noticed Bhagyashri sporting a sleek ring in her latest photo. One comment under her post cheekily asked, “Ring? Who is he?”—to which the actress playfully responded, “I bought :).” While the flirty reply didn’t confirm or deny anything, it did little to calm the curiosity of their followers.

The speculation comes as RAPO 22 gains momentum. The film’s makers recently unveiled a poster introducing Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead opposite Ram Pothineni. Directed by Mahesh Babu P and backed by Mythri Movie Makers, the film features Bhagyashri as Mahalaxmi, while Ram is seen in a youthful avatar, likely playing a college student.

Made on a budget of Rs 70 crore, the romantic drama has already completed its first shooting schedule. The technical team includes music by the energetic duo Vivek-Mervin, cinematography by Madhu Neelakandan, production design by Avinash Kolla, and editing by veteran Sreekar Prasad, with Cherry serving as executive producer.

While the release date remains under wraps, the film is expected to hit theatres in the second half of 2025. Ram Pothineni, last seen in ‘Double iSmart’, is banking on RAPO 22 for a strong comeback—while fans remain equally invested in both his professional and (possible) personal storylines.
