Actor Anand Deverakonda shared a candid moment from a family celebration after posting a video of himself dancing with his brother Vijay Deverakonda and Vijay’s wife Rashmika Mandanna to the song "Sancharame", the first single from Anand’s upcoming Telugu film Epic: First Semester. The video, shared on Instagram, captured a joyful and unscripted moment during the couple’s post-wedding celebrations.
The clip shows the trio dancing together in a relaxed setting, with Anand describing the moment as chaotic but filled with happiness. In the caption accompanying the post, he wrote that the moment reflected the joy of travelling and celebrating with loved ones while listening to the newly released track.
Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were married on February 26, and the celebrations continued with traditional post-wedding rituals, including a Gruhapravesam ceremony at their home in Thummanapeta, Telangana. Anand Deverakonda and Rashmika’s sister Shiman Mandanna were also present during the extended family festivities.

The song "Sancharame", released on March 9, serves as the first single from Epic: First Semester. Written by lyricist Goreti Venkanna, the track features music and vocals by Hesham Abdul Wahab alongside Venkanna. The song explores themes of nostalgia for one’s homeland while experiencing life abroad.
Visually, the music video was filmed across several landmarks in London, aligning with the film’s storyline about Telugu college students studying in the United Kingdom. The film also reunites Anand Deverakonda with actress Vaishnavi Chaitanya after their earlier collaboration in the 2023 film Baby.
Epic: First Semester marks the directorial debut of Aditya Haasan and is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, with presentation by Srikara Studios. The film follows the experiences of students navigating education and life abroad, with travel and relationships forming a key part of its narrative.
