Former Bigg Boss 19 contestant Baseer Ali has levelled serious allegations against host Salman Khan and the show's production team, accusing them of unfair treatment and bias during his time on the reality series. In an exclusive interview with SCREEN on October 27, 2025, the actor-model expressed shock over his unexpected eviction after 63 days in the house, claiming it sidelined him despite being a strong contender for the finale. Ali, who gained prominence through previous reality stints like MTV Splitsvilla and Roadies, described the experience as a profound learning curve in acceptance but criticised the makers for failing to provide guidance or support, leaving participants vulnerable to unchecked negativity.
Ali recounted the moments following his elimination, noting a brief disbelief before embracing it as a divine sign. "When I got evicted, I was in disbelief for a fraction of a second... I just walked out with a smile," he shared, reflecting on how the show's high-stakes environment had reshaped his perspective. His complaints centred on the production's handling of sensitive issues, particularly an on-camera remark by fellow contestant Malti Chahar questioning his sexuality—a clip released by the Bigg Boss team itself. "What was Bigg Boss doing about it? What did Salman Khan or the makers do about it? Is that fair to me?" Ali questioned, highlighting the lack of intervention from the host or producers.
The former contestant further alleged selective scrutiny, pointing to instances where his own comments were amplified while others escaped notice. He cited backlash for labelling the contestant quality "shit", which drew a public reprimand from guest host Farah Khan, painting him as the antagonist. In contrast, remarks from Gaurav Khanna toward Amaal Malik—implying class differences by saying, "Yeh log toh aise hai, don't we come from good families?" while gesturing at Ali—went unaddressed. "Nobody addressed these situations. It is very evident they don't want to address these things, as it worked for them," Ali asserted, suggesting the show's narrative favoured drama over fairness.

Ali's outbursts underscore ongoing debates about the ethical boundaries of reality television, where unscripted conflicts often blur into personal attacks without adequate safeguards. Bigg Boss 19, airing on Colours TV and streaming on JioCinema, has drawn praise for its raw entertainment but faced scrutiny for amplifying controversies. As the season progresses toward its climax, Ali's revelations could prompt calls for better contestant protections and impartial hosting, reminding viewers of the human cost behind the glamour.
