Actress and former nurse Julie has made serious allegations against supporters of the Thamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), claiming that sustained online trolling and harassment led to severe emotional distress and ultimately contributed to the loss of her unborn child. The actress has also filed a police complaint in Chennai, seeking action against individuals she alleges were involved in the campaign of online abuse.

Speaking to the media, Julie said she had approached the police in March and submitted a complaint naming eight individuals whom she accused of targeting her through social media. According to her, she later received communication stating that the matter was being treated as a civil defamation issue rather than a criminal case. She also alleged that additional accusations, including claims relating to a purported kidney scam, surfaced against her after the complaint was filed.

Julie stated that she had recently married and was expecting her first child when the alleged trolling intensified. She claimed that the resulting mental stress had a devastating impact on her personal life and health. The actress said that while she could seek public sympathy over her loss, her primary concern remains the alleged defamatory content directed at both her and her husband.

In her remarks, Julie directly referenced Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK founder Vijay, alleging that he bears moral responsibility for the actions of some of his supporters. She claimed that although he was not directly involved, a public appeal from him asking supporters to stop the harassment could have prevented the situation from escalating. These allegations remain Julie’s personal claims and have not been independently verified.

The actress further alleged that coordinated efforts were made to spread damaging narratives about her online. She claimed that certain individuals, including a TVK supporter and a lawyer, were involved in creating and circulating accusations intended to tarnish her reputation. Julie also questioned whether greater attention should be given to addressing public concerns rather than targeting critics on social media platforms.

The controversy has sparked discussion on online harassment, political support networks, and the responsibility of public figures in moderating the conduct of their followers. As of now, there has been no public response from Vijay or the TVK regarding Julie’s allegations. The matter remains under scrutiny, with attention focused on the legal proceedings related to her complaint and any further action by authorities.
