Bigg Boss 19 contestant Tanya Mittal has finally addressed the long-standing rumours that she claimed to have “150 bodyguards” during her stint on the reality show. The speculation had taken social media by storm, fueled by clips of conversations that were widely misinterpreted. Tanya has now clarified that she never made such statements and called the controversy a simple misunderstanding.

Speaking to News Pinch during a visit to one of her pharmaceutical factories in Gwalior, Tanya explained that the “150 bodyguards” claim originated from a joke. She said that she had only mentioned having over 150 staff members, and co-contestant Zeishan Quadri playfully twisted the statement. “I never said this. You won’t find a single clip on the internet where I claim to have 150 bodyguards,” she stated.

Tanya also offered insight into her real-life ventures, highlighting her diverse business portfolio. She owns a textile factory, a pharmaceutical factory, and a gift manufacturing unit. According to Tanya, her willingness to give factory and house tours was motivated by a desire to prove that she has been truthful to her supporters. “The only reason I agreed to show these is to prove that I never lied,” she added.

Beyond her entrepreneurial pursuits, Tanya hinted at a career transition toward acting. She revealed that producer Ekta Kapoor has offered her a role in an upcoming television serial. Reflecting on the shift, she shared, “Now I’m conscious about my diet,” indicating her commitment to adapting to her new career path.

Tanya Mittal rose to prominence on Bigg Boss 19 for her bold statements and larger-than-life persona. She reached the finals and was eliminated in fourth place, with Gaurav Khanna ultimately winning the season.
