Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first-ever Emerging Science and Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 on November 3, marking a landmark moment for India’s science and technology ecosystem. The three-day flagship event, organized by the government, will become an annual platform uniting over 3,000 stakeholders—including Nobel laureates, top scientists, industry leaders, policymakers, and young innovators—to drive cutting-edge research and collaboration.
In a transformative move, PM Modi will launch the Rs 1 lakh crore Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund, designed to supercharge private sector-led R&D across the nation. This unprecedented financial commitment aims to shift India from a technology consumer to a global innovation powerhouse, fostering partnerships between industry, academia, and government to solve real-world challenges.
The conclave will feature high-impact sessions, including keynote addresses by leading scientists, panel discussions, technology showcases, and interactive presentations. Deliberations will revolve around 11 critical thematic areas: advanced materials, AI, bio-manufacturing, blue economy, digital communications, semiconductors, emerging agriculture, energy, environment and climate, health technologies, quantum science, and space exploration.
