Malayalam actor Vishnu Prasad passed away on Thursday night at a private hospital in Ernakulam, following complications from a prolonged liver illness. He was undergoing treatment in critical condition for several days, as doctors and his family prepared for a potential liver transplant.
Despite the best medical efforts, his health deteriorated rapidly, and he succumbed late Thursday night. He was surrounded by family, including his daughters Abhirami and Ananika, who had been closely involved in his care.
Prasad’s friend and fellow actor Kishore Sathya confirmed the news on social media, writing, “Dear all, a very sad news… Vishnu Prasad has passed away.
