On his 40th birthday, Yash surprised fans with a high-octane glimpse from his upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups, introducing his character, Raya. The nearly three-minute clip showcases Yash in his trademark stylish avatar, delivering the iconic line, “Daddy’s home”, while making a dramatic entry at a cemetery scene.
Fans, who eagerly anticipate birthday meet-and-greets with the actor, were disappointed once again, as Yash continues to be busy with major projects including Toxic and Ramayana. Despite his absence, the video drop served as a special birthday gift, blending action, romance, and suspense in a cinematic package.
The teaser opens at a burial ground, with Yash arriving in a sleek car as chaos brews outside. The scene escalates quickly, with Yash stepping out stylishly, wielding a gun, and exuding intense swag. The sequence is complemented by Ravi Basrur’s music and high-octane action choreography by J.J. Perry, Anbariv, Kecha Khamphakdee, and Amrit Singh.

Visuals by National Award-winning cinematographer Rajeev Ravi impress with cinematic finesse, while art directors Mohan B. Kere and Sandeep G. Sharma create a compelling, immersive world. Director Geetu Mohandas, who co-wrote the film with Yash, has ensured the glimpse packs both style and storytelling punch.
Toxic is being simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed releases planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and other languages. Leading ladies Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani, and Nayanthara have already been introduced with intriguing character posters, adding to the film’s anticipation.
Produced by Venkat K. under KVN Productions and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, the film is slated for release on March 19, when it will clash at the box office with Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Yash return to the big screen after his massive success with KGF: Chapter 2 in 2022.
