Christopher Nolan was also spotted arriving at the hotel, with reports suggesting that actor Matt Damon, who plays the lead role in the film, is expected to join the team in Mumbai.

Based on Homer’s ancient Greek epic, The Odyssey follows the journey of Odysseus, played by Matt Damon, as he attempts to return home after the Trojan War. The film explores his encounters with gods, mythical creatures and dangerous challenges while highlighting themes of courage, resilience and determination.
The film has generated significant interest among Indian audiences, with advance ticket sales showing strong demand. IMAX bookings opened nearly a month before release, and premium screenings in cities including Mumbai and Delhi have reportedly witnessed heavy demand, with several high-priced seats already sold out.
The Odyssey has been filmed across multiple countries using newly developed IMAX technology and is being promoted as the first feature film shot entirely with IMAX cameras. The movie features a star-studded cast including Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron. Speaking about audience expectations, Nolan said the response to the film represents both excitement and a challenge because the movie was created specifically for theatrical viewing. He said the audience would ultimately decide how the film is received once it reaches cinemas worldwide.
