Bollywood and Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda and his wife Rashmika Mandanna recently made a heartfelt visit to the actor’s native village in Nagar Kurnool district of Telangana, paying homage to his maternal grandparents in a quiet yet touching family ceremony that has resonated widely on social media.

The couple, who tied the knot on February 26 in Udaipur in a blend of regional and cultural wedding rituals, returned to Vijay’s roots in Thummanapet village, where they performed traditional rites and sought blessings from family elders. Accompanied by Vijay’s mother and brother, Rashmika participated fully in customary pujas, including the Satyanarayana Vratam at the family farmhouse — a ritual observed for blessings and prosperity in the couple’s married life. Villagers greeted the pair with traditional folk music and dance, and a customary aarti was performed before they entered the ancestral home.
