Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda began their traditional Kodava wedding ceremony in Udaipur on Thursday, marking the second leg of their wedding celebrations. Earlier in the morning at 10:10 AM, the couple solemnised their marriage through a traditional Telugu ceremony that honoured Vijay Deverakonda’s family roots and customs.
The evening ceremony is dedicated to celebrating Rashmika Mandanna’s Kodava (Coorg) heritage, reflecting the couple’s decision to embrace and respect both their cultural backgrounds. By hosting two separate rituals, they are blending Telugu and Kodava traditions in a meaningful and symbolic manner, creating a wedding celebration that represents both families equally.
The wedding festivities are being held at ITC Mementoes, a luxury property situated around 50 kilometres from Udaipur. The couple have opted for a highly private and intimate event, with only close family members and a select circle of friends in attendance. Security at the venue has reportedly been tight to ensure privacy during the ceremonies.
