Actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Konidela have brought their newborn twins home following their birth on January 31. Upasana, who delivered a baby boy and girl, was discharged from the hospital on Thursday under heightened security measures after incidents earlier in the week saw fans gathering in large numbers outside the facility.

Barricades and security personnel were deployed to prevent overcrowding and ensure the family’s safe exit. Earlier this week, Ram Charan and their elder daughter Klin Kaara were reportedly mobbed by fans during hospital visits, prompting authorities to implement strict measures for the discharge. A video captured by paparazzi showed coordinated efforts by security teams to facilitate a smooth departure, with the family leaving in a vehicle with tinted windows.

The stringent security marked a stark contrast to 2023, when Upasana and Klin Kaara were discharged without incident, and the couple interacted freely with fans and media. This year, concerns over public safety and potential disturbances led to a no-contact approach to protect the newborns and family. The hospital also restricted access to maintain privacy and order.

The couple shared the joyful news of their twins on social media, highlighting the arrival of two daughters and a son. Their pre-delivery post featured Ram standing beside Upasana, along with their pet dogs, and expressed gratitude toward family, fans, and well-wishers for their support throughout the pregnancy.

Ram Charan and Upasana have been married since June 2012 and welcomed their first child, Klin Kaara, in June 2023. Ram Charan, who recently appeared in Game Changer, will next star in Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, slated for release on April 30, following his earlier blockbuster hit RRR. The couple continues to balance their growing family life with Ram’s professional commitments in cinema.
