Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who will turn 90 on December 8, 2025, has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital for a routine medical check-up. According to sources close to the family, the actor has been under observation for the past four to five days but there is no cause for concern. This hospital visit is part of a scheduled series of health tests given his age, and the actor remains hale and hearty.
Dharmendra had undergone an eye graft surgery earlier this year in April, and fans had expressed their concern when a video of him leaving the hospital with a bandaged right eye went viral on social media. In his typical style, Dharmendra had reassured fans saying, “I am strong. Abhi bhi Dharmendra mein bahut dum hai. Meri aankh, eye graft ho gayi hai. I am strong.” He also conveyed his love and gratitude to his audience.
The legendary actor was last seen in the critically acclaimed film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Dharmendra is set to appear next in the upcoming film Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan and featuring Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The film is based on the life of war hero Arun Khetarpal and is scheduled for a December release.
