The 67-year-old actor shared his joy on Instagram, posting a photo with the revered figure and captioning it, “A moment of deep honour and gratitude... His presence, wisdom, and blessings filled my heart with peace. Truly unforgettable.” The encounter resonated with fans, highlighting Deol’s spiritual side amid his busy career.
Known for his action-packed roles, Deol recently wrapped filming for Border 2, the sequel to his 1997 hit Border, which grossed over Rs 600 million globally. Directed by Anurag Singh and featuring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, the war drama is set for release on January 23, 2026, under producers Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J P Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta. Deol is also gearing up for Lahore 1947, co-starring Preity Zinta, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
