Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has partnered with the event organisers to provide seamless metro travel for attendees of the Shreya Ghoshal Live – All Hearts Tour at YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, on March 1.
Concertgoers who purchased tickets through authorised platforms have exclusive digital metro passes on their ticket, allowing hassle-free round-trip travel between their nearest metro station and Nandanam metro station. Each digital pass, embedded with a unique QR code, grants two entries and exits on the metro network, valid only on the event day.
To accommodate attendees, CMRL is also extending its last train services from Nandanam metro station. Trains will depart at 11:17 PM towards Wimco Nagar Depot and at 11:37 PM towards Airport Metro Station. Passengers can transfer to the Green Line at Chennai Central and Alandur until midnight. Entry at Nandanam metro station will close 10 minutes before the final train departure.
Parking is available at all metro stations with standard charges, but venue parking for bikes and cars will be limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Organisers have urged fans to use public transport for convenience.
“We encourage you to take advantage of this service and enjoy free travel by simply scanning your QR code on the M-Ticket as your ticket entitles you to a cost-free one round trip journey on the event day,” said the Instagram post.
The concert will run from 7 PM to 10 PM, with venue gates opening at 5 PM. An Instagram post from the organisers confirmed that free metro passes are valid only for those who purchased concert tickets before 6 PM on February 28, 2025.
