Sharvari Wagh is reportedly set to join the cast of ‘Don 3’, stepping into the female lead role opposite Ranveer Singh. The film, directed by Farhan Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment, has been making headlines ever since Kiara Advani, initially cast in the project, opted out following her pregnancy.

According to reports, both Sharvari and Kriti Sanon were being considered for the part, but it is Sharvari who has bagged the coveted role. A source quoted by Bollywood Hungama said, “Sharvari and one more actress were being considered. But she has managed to bag the role. The team at Excel Entertainment is excited to have her on board, and Sharvari too is quite kicked to be a part of such a huge franchise.”

‘Don 3’ is expected to begin filming by the end of 2025, once Sharvari wraps up promotional duties for her upcoming action film ‘Alpha’, co-starring Alia Bhatt. Ranveer Singh is also expected to begin work on ‘Don 3’ after completing his other projects, including Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar’ and Farhan Akhtar’s ‘120 Bahadur’. Actor Vikrant Massey is reportedly cast as the antagonist.

This marks another big leap for Sharvari, who has been on a career upswing with her recent appearance in Munjya (2024) and her upcoming lead role in Alpha. Speaking about her love for action films, Sharvari had earlier said, “I love action as a genre and binge-watch action movies with my sister. When I was offered Alpha, I jumped! It’s a dream come true.”

If confirmed, ‘Don 3’ will cement Sharvari’s arrival in mainstream Bollywood, giving her a platform in one of the industry's most iconic action franchises. The film is slated for a Christmas 2025 release.
