The highly anticipated teaser of Salman Khan’s upcoming film Sikandar is set to premiere today, February 27, at 3:33 PM. The announcement was made by the film’s production house, Nadiadwala Grandson, on social media, sparking excitement among fans.

The film is slated for an Eid release, with a tentative date of March 30 or 31. Meanwhile, Salman Khan is also set to appear in Kick 2 later this year.

The teaser launch coincides with producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s birthday, with the makers calling it a special gift for audiences. “To all the amazing fans, your patience means the world to us. A little gift on #SajidNadiadwala’s birthday, after the love we’ve received on Sikandar! A big surprise awaits on the 27th of Feb! Stay with us,” read a post by Nadiadwala Grandson on Instagram.

The teaser will be available on Nadiadwala Grandson’s official social media handles, including Instagram and YouTube. Given that Netflix and Zee Studios are also involved in the film, the teaser may also be shared on their platforms.

Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar marks Salman Khan’s return to the big screen after more than a year, following Tiger 3. The film also reunites him with Nadiadwala after their 2014 blockbuster Kick.

Adding to the excitement, Sikandar features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The actress, who is currently receiving praise for her performances in Chhaava and Pushpa 2: The Rule, was officially announced as part of the project in May 2024.

Mandanna is currently on a high, having delivered back-to-back hits, while Salman Khan has been struggling with a series of box-office disappointments. With her next big project is Sikandar, where she stars alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the expectations are sky-high and fans are eager to see if Rashmika’s golden touch will bring back Salman’s box office dominance.
