Bollywood actor Salman Khan has revealed that many of the luxury watches frequently seen on his wrist are not actually part of his personal collection. Speaking during a recent interview with Variety India, the actor shared that several of the high-end timepieces he wears belong to friends and are returned after use. His candid remarks offered fans a rare glimpse into his relationship with luxury accessories and the stories behind some of his most talked-about watches.
During the conversation, Khan dismissed the assumption that every expensive watch he is photographed wearing belongs to him. The actor said that people often associate the watches with his personal collection simply because they see him wearing them in public appearances and photographs. However, he clarified that most of those pieces are borrowed from friends, adding that only one Rolex watch is his own while the others eventually go back to their respective owners.
One of the most notable watches associated with Khan is the Rolex Rainbow Daytona, a luxury sports watch known for its colorful gemstone-set bezel and exclusivity. The model is highly sought after by collectors worldwide and has become one of the most recognizable luxury watches among celebrities. Khan's comments drew attention to the fact that despite often being linked to an extensive collection, he does not claim ownership of many of the watches he showcases.

Another standout timepiece worn by the actor is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon Malachite. The luxury watch features a 41mm titanium case paired with a matching bracelet and a striking green malachite dial. Its design includes gold hour markers and a visible tourbillon mechanism positioned at six o'clock, while an exhibition case back reveals the intricate movement powering the watch. The model is valued at more than ₹5 crore, placing it among the most premium watches in the luxury market.
Luxury watches continue to hold a special place in celebrity culture, often serving as symbols of craftsmanship, exclusivity, and personal style. Collectors and enthusiasts closely follow the watches worn by public figures, with certain models gaining immense popularity after being associated with well-known personalities. The demand for rare and limited-edition watches has also grown significantly in recent years, turning many of them into valuable investment pieces.
Khan's remarks stood out for their simplicity and honesty, shifting attention away from the monetary value of the watches and towards the friendships connected to them. By revealing that many of the timepieces belong to friends, the actor offered a more personal perspective on his interest in luxury watches. His comments have since sparked discussion among fans and watch enthusiasts, who continue to follow the actor's distinctive style both on and off screen.
