Tamil actor Sri, also known as Shriram Natarajan, who was reported missing after posting explicit content on Instagram, has been located and is currently receiving medical care, according to a statement shared by director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Sri, best known for his performances in ‘Vazhakku Enn 18/9’ and ‘Maanagaram’, raised concern among fans and colleagues after he appeared visibly distressed in recent videos and was reportedly unreachable for several days. His posts, which included adult content and showed a drastic physical transformation—including significant weight loss and bleached hair—sparked fears about his mental well-being.
Fans had tagged Kanagaraj on social media, urging him to intervene. On Friday, the Leo director released an official update on behalf of Sri's family and friends: “Actor Shriram is under expert medical care and is currently taking some time off from social media following his doctor’s advice.”

The statement requested privacy during Sri's recovery. “Speculation and misinformation can be extremely distressing. We urge all media platforms, both online and offline, to refrain from spreading rumours or unverified updates about his health,” it said.
Kanagaraj also appealed to the media and public to remove objectionable videos and interviews circulating online. “We do not endorse any views expressed by certain individuals in interviews and deny the same completely,” the statement clarified.
Sri was last seen in ‘Irugapatru’ (2023). Months ago, he had spoken about unpaid dues for his past film work. His sudden disappearance and recent posts had prompted emotional appeals from fans and calls for action from the Tamil film fraternity.
The actor’s well-being is now being closely monitored, and his family has thanked well-wishers for their concern.
