Actress Bhagyashree, famed for Maine Pyaar Kiya, recently visited the revered Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, and shared glimpses of her spiritual journey on Instagram.
Dressed in a striking orange salwar kameez with golden embellishments, she radiated elegance in photos and clips outside the temple. “Jai Jagannath !! Feeling blessed. In Puri for darshan of the Lord God Jagannath!... needed it. Peace and blessings envelope you if you go with belief and reverence. Had a wonderful darshan,” she captioned, expressing her gratitude.
During the visit, Bhagyashree savored the local delicacy “Chattu Besara”—a mustard-cooked wild mushroom dish paired with ghee rice. She thanked IG Himanshu ji and DSP Prasant ji for arranging the culinary treat, adding, “Also tasted the famous ‘Chattu Besara’… a mustard cooked flavourful wild mushroom dish with ghee rice.”
This isn’t her first spiritual outing this year. Earlier, Bhagyashree marked Maha Shivratri at the Brahmakumaris, sharing a video of a 15-foot Shivling crafted from 4,000 coconut shells in a day.
Clad in a white saree, she joined the aarti and praised the serene, knowledge-rich experience, noting its blend of spirituality and social good—like free cancer detection and de-addiction camps. “Har har Mahadev!... It’s serene, peaceful, and knowledge-invoking… a spiritual experience but also a huge contribution to easing the stress from today’s lifestyle,” she wrote.
Recently, Bhagyashree underwent surgery for a forehead injury sustained while playing pickleball.
