Jr NTR is reportedly preparing to enter the cinema exhibition business by launching a premium multiplex in Hyderabad, according to industry reports. The proposed project is expected to be developed in Gachibowli, one of the city's fastest-growing commercial and residential hubs. If the reports prove accurate, the actor will join a growing list of leading Telugu film stars who have expanded their investments beyond filmmaking into the multiplex and entertainment infrastructure sector. However, neither Jr NTR nor his representatives have officially confirmed the development.
According to reports, Gachibowli has been identified as the preferred location due to its rapid urban growth and rising demand for premium entertainment options. The area is located close to Hyderabad's Financial District, Nanakramguda, and several major IT parks, making it home to a large population of working professionals and families. Industry observers believe these demographic factors make the locality an attractive destination for a modern multiplex designed to cater to a growing urban audience seeking high-quality cinema experiences.
The reported venture would place Jr NTR alongside several prominent Tollywood actors who have already invested in the exhibition business. Mahesh Babu partnered with Asian Cinemas to establish AMB Cinemas, which has become one of Hyderabad's best-known premium multiplex chains. More recently, Allu Arjun launched AAA Cinemas, while actors Ravi Teja and Vijay Deverakonda have also entered the cinema exhibition space through similar investments. The trend reflects the increasing interest among film stars in strengthening their presence across multiple segments of the entertainment industry.
