The spy action thriller Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, continued its extraordinary box‑office run on Wednesday, inching closer to an estimated ₹1,300 crore in worldwide gross collections, according to early industry estimates. The film maintained steady earnings even in its 47th day of release, underlining its long‑lasting appeal among moviegoers.
Despite a dip that saw the movie fall into the ₹1 crore range domestically on a recent Monday, Dhurandhar managed to add an estimated ₹1.50 crore to its total on Tuesday, indicating resilience at the ticket windows well into its seventh week. This sustained performance has helped the film record healthy weekend collections as well, including approximately ₹3 crore and ₹3.75 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
The movie has already rewritten several box‑office records this season. It achieved the highest seventh‑week collection for a Hindi film, surpassing Stree 2, and has held firm against newer releases at the box office. Analysts note that such extended run strength is rare, especially in the era of rapid content turnover.

At the domestic box office, Dhurandhar has amassed a net total well above ₹828 crore, making it the highest‑grossing Hindi film in India to date. Its Indian gross has now crossed an estimated ₹990 crore, bringing it close to the coveted ₹1,000 crore milestone.
Globally, the film’s overall collections are steadily approaching ₹1.3 billion, reflecting its strong performance in overseas markets as well. Trade trackers have noted that international receipts have played a significant role in boosting the movie toward this major milestone.
Looking ahead, Dhurandhar is set to face competition with the release of the war drama Border 2 later this week. It remains to be seen how its box‑office momentum holds up against new challengers, but its current record makes it one of the most successful Hindi films of recent years.
