Aditya Dhar’s action-packed thriller, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, is set to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. The sequel continues the gripping saga of Indian agent Jaskirat Singh Rangi’s undercover mission in Karachi’s dangerous underworld, promising high-octane espionage and intense drama.
This week, the makers unveiled the film’s first poster on social media, signaling a notable shift in the film’s music and digital landscape. T-Series has replaced Saregama as the official music label, taking charge of the soundtrack for the second installment, a move insiders say is likely to enhance the album’s commercial prospects.
Industry sources suggest that Dhurandhar 2’s music album is set to be a chartbuster. “It’s a massive soundtrack, and everyone who’s heard it is raving,” said a source, highlighting the album’s genre-spanning variety that mirrors the ambitious musical diversity of the first film.

On the streaming front, JioHotstar has secured the film’s digital rights, reportedly outpacing Netflix in a competitive bid. “The film has already generated blockbuster-level buzz among fans and traders alike. JioHotstar clearly capitalised on the hype,” an insider told India Today.
The film follows Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza Ali Mazhari, an Indian spy who consolidates his influence in Pakistan’s underworld after eliminating gangster Rehman Dakait. His rise, however, draws the attention of Major Iqbal, a ruthless ISI strategist, setting the stage for a tense battle of wits and action.
Dhurandhar 2 features a star-studded ensemble including R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. As the second chapter in a planned two-part series, the film delves into espionage, terrorism, and high-stakes action, making it one of the most eagerly awaited releases of 2026.
