After a blockbuster theatrical run, ‘Chhaava’ which stars Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is set for its digital premiere on Netflix on April 11. The historical drama, which grossed an impressive Rs 804 crore worldwide, will now reach global audiences through the streaming platform.
Netflix confirmed the news on Thursday with a fiery Instagram post, writing: “Aale Raje aale 👑 Witness a tale of courage and glory etched in time 🔥⚔️ Watch Chhaava, out 11 April on Netflix.”
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan for Maddock Films, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Ashutosh Rana. The film, which released in theatres on February 14, received acclaim for its powerful performances, gripping narrative, and a hauntingly beautiful soundtrack by A.R. Rahman, with lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

The film recently surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ to become the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
