Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, continues its strong run at the box office and is steadily marching towards the ₹300 crore milestone. The film, which was released in theatres on January 23, has shown remarkable consistency in its second week, underlining its mass appeal.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Border 2 earned approximately ₹5.75 crore on its second Tuesday, matching its Monday collections. With this, the film’s total box office earnings now stand at ₹286.75 crore after 12 days, putting it well within striking distance of the coveted ₹300 crore mark.
The war drama delivered a powerful opening week, collecting ₹224.25 crore, aided by the extended Republic Day weekend. Monday, which coincided with Republic Day, turned out to be the film’s biggest single day so far, with collections touching ₹59 crore nationwide.

The film also witnessed a strong surge during its second weekend. Friday brought in ₹10.75 crore, Saturday added ₹17.75 crore, while Sunday emerged as the highest-grossing day of the weekend with earnings of ₹22.5 crore, further strengthening its overall performance.
With these numbers, Border 2 has already surpassed the opening weekend collections of Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, cementing its status as one of the biggest Bollywood successes of the year so far.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 features an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty. Set against the backdrop of the 1971 India-Pakistan war, the film serves as a spiritual successor to the 1997 classic Border, blending large-scale action with emotional storytelling rooted in patriotism.
