K-pop girl group BLACKPINK marked its 10th anniversary on Saturday, with members Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa sharing individual messages for their fans, known as BLINKs. The milestone comes a decade after the group made its debut under YG Entertainment. The members reflected on their journey, expressed gratitude to fans and acknowledged the bond they have built with one another over the years.
The anniversary celebrations came amid controversy surrounding a special event announced by YG Entertainment. The agency said the event would be held on Saturday as a gesture of appreciation for fans who have supported BLACKPINK over the past 10 years. However, the decision to restrict attendance to only 40 participants drew criticism from some fans, who questioned the limited access to the anniversary celebration.
Jennie marked the occasion with an Instagram post reflecting on the past decade and the support she received from BLINKs. She expressed gratitude to fans who continued to believe in her and cheer her on throughout her career. Jennie also thanked fellow members Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa for sharing the group's journey, recalling how their collective experiences helped shape BLACKPINK's decade-long career.

Jisoo shared a more emotional message on Bubble, acknowledging the disappointment among some fans surrounding the anniversary celebrations. She reflected on her years as both a member of BLACKPINK and an individual artist, saying she had always wanted to show fans her positive side and bring them happiness during difficult moments. She also credited BLINKs for helping BLACKPINK shine and thanked them for continuing to celebrate the group's milestone.
Rosé, whose full name is Roseanne Park, commemorated the anniversary through an Instagram post dedicated to her journey with Jisoo, Jennie and Lisa. Lisa also expressed gratitude to fans for standing by her throughout BLACKPINK's 10-year journey. Reflecting on her relationship with the other members, she described their time together as a journey filled with highs and lows and reaffirmed the importance of their bond.
BLACKPINK debuted on August 8, 2016, with the single album “Square One” under YG Entertainment and went on to become one of the most prominent K-pop groups internationally. The group has released major hits including “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, “Kill This Love”, “How You Like That” and “Pink Venom”. Its most recent group release was the third mini-album “Deadline”, released on February 27, 2026.
