Actor Huma Qureshi is set to headline the upcoming thriller Baby Do Die Do, in which she plays a deaf-and-mute assassin navigating a dangerous world of secrets, betrayal and personal trauma. The makers released the trailer of the film on Monday, offering audiences a glimpse into a suspense-filled narrative centred around a character leading a double life. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on July 3 and promises a mix of action, mystery and psychological drama.
Directed by Nachiket Samant, the film features Huma Qureshi in the role of Baby, an NGO worker who appears ordinary on the surface but secretly works as a highly skilled hitwoman. The trailer reveals that Baby is haunted by the voice of her deceased sister, adding an emotional and psychological layer to the story. As a mission spirals out of control, she finds herself confronting hidden truths, buried memories and questions surrounding her own identity.

The project is produced by Huma's brother, actor and producer Saqib Saleem. The music for the film has been composed by Arjun Iyer, who is expected to contribute to the film's dark and atmospheric tone.

Toxic is scheduled for release on August 26 and is expected to be one of the biggest Indian film releases of the year, adding to an eventful period in Qureshi's career.
